Church of San Cataldo

Having abolished idolatry in this country of ours, and embraced the law of the true God, the famous temple, dedicated to such a false deity, not far from the village of Cancello, was consecrated by our citizens, as we said in the chapter of the first book, in honour of the glorious St. Cataldo.
For the fortress of the walls, although this building stood for several centuries, it can now be seen all on the ground and its stones can be seen in various parts carried away.
