Atina Jazz 2026: Celebrating 40 Years of Great Music in the Comino Valley
Atina Jazz Festival reaches a historic milestone: in 2026, we will celebrate the 40th edition (1986–2026). From the 15 to 19 July, the picturesque setting of Piazza Marconi in Atina (FR) It will once again become the beating heart of the international jazz scene, hosting world-renowned legends and up-and-coming talents in a unique atmosphere.
Under the direction of the Kunoichi Promotion Agency and with the support of Atina Town Council and the Lazio Region, the festival promises five unforgettable evenings of soul, blues and avant-garde jazz.
Atina Jazz 2026 Programme: All the Concerts
All concerts will start at 21:30. Here is the full calendar:
15 July – Emma Smith
The opening is entrusted to the extraordinary voice of Emma Smith, accompanied by Sam Watts (piano), Conor Chaplin (double bass) and Steve Brown (drums). A sophisticated start to a memorable edition.
16 July – China Moses “It’s Complicated”
The charismatic China Moses He brings his project “It’s Complicated” to the stage. A magnetic fusion of jazz and soul with an exceptional band comprising Insxght, Jérôme Cornelis, Immanuel Simelane and Lox.
17 July – Bill Frisell Trio featuring Gregory Tardy
One of the most eagerly awaited events: the legendary guitarist Bill Frisell He is performing in a trio with Thomas Morgan and Rudy Royston, with a special guest appearance by the saxophonist Gregory Tardy. An unmissable event for jazz guitar enthusiasts.
18 July – Irene Fornaciari & The Groove Aviators
Saturday evening’s main event is Irene Fornaciari with “Soul Connections”. A profound journey into the roots of soul alongside the Groove Aviators, for an energetic performance brimming with emotion.
19 July – Eliane Elias Quartet
The grand finale will be performed by the multi-award-winning Brazilian pianist and singer Eliane Elias. Together with Marc Johnson, Leandro Pellegrino and Mauricio Zottarelli, he will bring the elegance of bossa nova and contemporary jazz to Atina.

The festival takes place in Piazza Marconi, in the historic centre of Atina. Thanks to its location in the Comino Valley, it offers the perfect opportunity to combine music with exploring the area and sampling the local food and wine.

Situated in the heart of the Comino Valley, Atina is easily accessible by both car and public transport. Here is all the information you need to plan your trip and arrive stress-free in one of Lazio’s most charming villages.

Enter “Atina (FR)” on Google Maps or your sat-nav to find the quickest route. The historic centre is also accessible on foot and has public car parks.
Atina is located in province of Frosinone, at about:
45 minutes from Frosinone city
1h 40 from Rome (A1 exit - Cassino)
1h 20 from Naples
👉 From Rome or Naples: take the A1 motorway (Milan-Naples) and exit at Cassino. Continue on the SS509 in the direction of Sora, following the signs for Atina.

Rome Fiumicino Airport (2h 15 min)
Naples Capodichino Airport (1h 40 min)
From the airports, you can continue by train to Cassino, continue by bus or rent a car.
