Samuele Pagano Festival – “From Vienna to Spain”

The 2026 Samuele Pagano Festival in Atina: The “From Vienna to Spain” Concert”

Great international music is once again being performed in the prestigious historic venues of the Ciociaria region. Saturday 27 June 2026, at 18:30, the splendid setting of the Ducal Palace in Atina (FR) will host an unmissable event as part of the 5th Edition of the Samuele Pagano International Festival. This cultural event, which has now become a fixture on the concert scene in the province of Frosinone, will feature a performance of the extraordinary programme entitled “From Vienna to Spain”.

The concert will feature a refined instrumental dialogue that combines Central European classical elegance with the warmth and vibrant rhythm of the Iberian tradition. Two musicians of the highest international standing will be performing on stage: Fabio Montomoli on guitar and Francesco Iannitti Piromallo on the piano. An artistic partnership capable of treating the audience to masterful performances and profound emotions, enhanced by the natural acoustics and the timeless atmosphere of the Palazzo Ducale.

Important note for the public: Admission to the event is completely free. This decision was strongly supported by the organisers and the local authorities in order to promote the widest possible dissemination of musical culture throughout the Comino Valley.

The Evening’s Programme: “From Vienna to Spain”

The concert’s title draws an imaginary line between two historically pivotal musical worlds. On the one hand, imperial Vienna, the cradle of classicism and the most rigorous compositional structures; on the other, Spain, a land of folk influences, fiery passions and syncopated rhythms that have inspired the greatest composers of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The synergy between Montomoli’s classical guitar and Iannitti Piromallo’s piano will allow the audience to explore these nuances through a rich and surprising palette of timbres.

The Stars of the Stage

  • Fabio Montomoli – Classical Guitar: Regarded by international critics as one of the finest classical guitarists of his generation, he has enjoyed a career punctuated by tours all over the world. His style is characterised by impeccable technical precision combined with a warm expressiveness, making him ideally suited to exploring the very soul of the Spanish repertoire.
  • Francesco Iannitti Piromallo – Piano: A pianist, composer and teacher of the highest calibre, he combines his solo career with a deep commitment to chamber music. His interpretative sensitivity and the structural solidity of his pianism provide the perfect counterbalance to the agility and lyricism of the guitar, ensuring an impeccable sonic balance.
